Orphaned Client
An orphan client is someone who has previously bought or inherited a financial product through past employment or through a company or financial advisor. Orphan clients are no longer being serviced/receive advice & no longer pay commissions/fees.
Financial Planners
Due to legislation, from 1 January 2021 grandfathered commission for many orphaned clients will cease.
For many businesses this could represent close to 25% of revenue & reduce valuation of financial planning books.
Buying Orphaned Clients
We are looking at purchasing orphaned clients. If as a financial planner you have switched fees off on a clients account or you have had grandfathered commission cease to exist due to new legislation.
We are looking to offer you a small price to ensure you receive some value for these clients. In addition, these clients will continue to be afforded advice & guidance.
