BT Panorama Changes - Feb 2023
BT Panorama has recently sent out emails to their members outlining that they will be transferring their super fund to “streamline our superannuation business”
We unpack what this means for you, the member, and what you need to do.
The Email….
What does it mean?
BT are moving your super fund
Trustee remains the same
Account number remains the same
Investments remain the same
Why are BT doing this?
We have no idea and BT have not provided a satisfactory response to our questions
In the letter to members, they state that this is being done to “streamline our superannuation business”
However, we understand this may be in preparation for the sale of the business.
Does this affect you?
Ultimately, this will not affect you significantly
The main change is that if your super fund is receiving contributions, we will need to update your employer of the new super fund details.
In particular the Unique Superannuation Identifier number has changed
We will have 12 months to update your employer
What should you do?
There is nothing to implement from your end and nothing changes (apart from the name)
